House Hues started in 2019 with a simple idea: what if a painting company actually cared about getting it right?

We’re a top-down craftsmanship business, which means we approach every project with the mindset of delivering the best possible outcome given the starting canvas. Whether we’re working with a brand new build or a century-old home, the goal is the same: create something that stands the test of time.
Our founder, David Lee, built this company on principles he learned doing restoration work—attention to detail, matching products to applications, and never settling for shortcuts. That philosophy runs through everything we do, from the simplest interior repaint to complex high gloss finishes and specialty applications like VeroMetal and Venetian plaster.
We use materials we trust. Fine Paints of Europe. Authentic lime and plaster finishes. Products chosen for longevity and beauty, not just price point. Because the finish is only as good as what’s underneath it and what goes into it.
